COJ TAKES EDUCATION & AWARENESS CAMPAIGN TO YARONA SHOPPING COMPLEX
The City of Johannesburg hosted an Education and Awareness Campaign at Yarona Shopping Complex in Ward 92, Allandale, on Wednesday, 17 September 2025.
Various City entities and stakeholders came together to engage directly with the community. Among those in attendance were:
• Group Forensic and Investigation Services (GFIS)
• Office of the Ombudsman
• Library and Information Services
• MARU (Municipal Accounts Resolution Unit)
• City Power
• Pikitup
The programme created a platform for residents to interact with City officials, raise service delivery concerns, and access important information on municipal services.
Community members were encouraged to make use of these platforms to stay informed, exercise their rights, and contribute to building a better Johannesburg.
