STOLEN IN IVORY PARK AND FOUND STRIPPED IN SOWETO
The Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department (JMPD) K9 Unit recovered a stolen vehicle in Mofolo, Soweto, on Sunday, 19 October 2025.
The silver VW Polo, which had been reported stolen from Ivory Park, was found hours later abandoned and stripped in an open space near Khuvuthu Street, Mofolo Soweto.
The vehicle was seized and booked into the SAPS Lenasia Vehicle Pound for further processing and investigation.
Police continue to urge the public to report any suspicious activity or information that may assist in tracking stolen vehicles.
