COMMUNITY NOTICE: SCHEDULED WATER THROTTLING IN KAE

Johannesburg Water has announced scheduled water throttling in Region A, which includes Ivory Park, Ebony Park and Kaalfontein, starting from:

Tuesday, 20 May 2025 at 14:00 until Wednesday, 21 May 2025 at 04:00.

This is part of efforts to curb rising water consumption and ensure steady water supply for all residents.

Good news: The water throttling will only start after 2PM, meaning schools will not be disrupted and learners will not be sent home early due to water outages.

Please use water wisely and store water in advance where possible. KAE News will continue to update you on any changes.
