SASSA CONFIRMS COVID-19 SRD PAYMENT DATES FOR MAY 2025
The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) has officially announced that payments for the R370 COVID-19 Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grant for approved beneficiaries will be processed from 23 to 28 May 2025.
This applies to beneficiaries who have been approved for the month of May. Beneficiaries are reminded that while the processing dates fall between 23 and 28 May, the actual date of payment into their bank accounts may vary. This is due to processing times and individual bank procedures.
SASSA urges all beneficiaries to regularly check their status on the official SRD website: https://srd.sassa.gov.za to confirm the exact date their payment will reflect.
