A NEW POLITICAL LANDSCAPE

The ANC won all eight KAE wards in 2021. Five years later, the EFF has taken Ward 77, the DA Ward 92 and ActionSA Ward 111 and Ward 110.

ActionSA also finished second in four other wards, signalling growing political competition.

The elections are over. Now comes the real test: service delivery, accountability and improving residents’ lives.
