Something special is coming to Ivory Park this November as the community prepares to welcome the inaugural Ivory Park Fashion Week (IVPFW).

The event will take place on Saturday, 07 November 2026 at Busy Corner Imbizo Shisanyama, bringing together 15 local brands on one runway for an evening celebrating fashion, creativity, culture and local talent.

Ivory Park Fashion Week is a new fashion and lifestyle platform celebrating designers, models, creatives and fashion talent in Ivory Park.

And KAE News can reveal the first five brands selected to take part, with the brands being released in alphabetical order.

ANTRIMA ATELIER
Founded by Brendon Ncube, proudly from Ebony Park Ext. 5.

APPAREL ZA
Founded by Itumeleng Lukhele from Kaalfontein.

ASAZI
Founded by Vusi Skiett from Ivory Park.

BLESS DESIGNS
Founded by Bless Khumalo from Ivory Park 2.

CEDRICK M
Founded by Cedrick Maoko from Ivory Park 2.

That makes five brands revealed with 10 more still to come.

The remaining selected brands will be revealed individually as Ivory Park Fashion Week builds towards its inaugural runway.

For a kasi that is often highlighted for its high crime rate, water and electricity challenges.

IVPFW is an opportunity to shine a light on another side of Ivory Park, the designers, creatives, entrepreneurs, models and young people creating, building and chasing their dreams right here in KAE.

Not only bad things are happening in KAE. There are also good things.

And this is one of them.
