TAXI MARSHALL GUNNED DOWN INSIDE TUCK SHOP IN EBONY PARK
A 49-year old taxi marshal has been shot and killed inside a tuck shop in Ebony Park on Tuesday afternoon, 08 September 2026.
The incident happened on Bluegum Street, opposite Kaalfontein Secondary School.
According to reports, the victim had just returned from work and went to the shop to buy airtime when he was allegedly approached by unknown gunmen, who opened fire on him.
The victim was shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Emergency services and law enforcement officers were alerted and responded to the scene.
The motive for the shooting is not yet known, and no arrests have been reported at this stage.
Members of Ivory Park SAPS are expected to investigate a case of murder.

This is the second killing this month after a taxi driver was shot and killed on the 2nd of September 2026.
