WATER CRISIS DEEPENS IN KAE
Our areas of Kaalfontein, Ebony Park and Ivory Park are still without water – with some kasis now going over a week without supply.
Johannesburg Water confirmed tonight (2 Sept, 19:30) that the President Park Reservoir & Tower remain severely constrained due to poor supply and high demand. This means low pressure or no water will persist, especially in higher-lying areas.
KAE News has been following up with JW throughout the day but has not received a clear response on when full water supply will be restored.
To make matters worse, so called “water throttling” is currently being implemented until Wednesday 04:00 in the morning. It is unclear if water would have been restored then.
