TWO DIE IN A CAR ACCIDENT IN TEMBISA
Two (2) people have died in a car accident on Andrew Mapheto Drive in Tembisa.
A single motor vehicle, Mercedes Benz, collided with a concrete barrier at Andrew Mapheto Drive next to Thembisa Plaza in the early hours of Thursday morning, 31 July 2025.
“Two people sustained fatal injuries and three sustained serious injuries and were taken to the nearest hospital” said Thabiso Makgato the spokesperson of Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD).
Traffic is congested and motorists are advised to use New Road towards Esslen Park as an alternative route.
