ACTION SA UNVEIL ‘XOLANI FOR MAYOR’ POSTERS

While the ANC President, Cyril Ramaphosa, was doing door-to-door campaigning in Tembisa. Nearby, in the same township at Emfihlweni Action SA unveiled their Ekurhuleni posters which read ‘Xolani For Mayor – Sizok’thola’ on Friday, 04 September 2026.

Xolani Khumalo of popular anti-drug show “Sizok’thola” is Action SA’s mayoral candidate for the City of Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality which includes Tembisa. City of Johannesburg Mayoral Candidate Herman Mashaba was also in attendance at the poster unveiling.

Mashaba urged residents of Tembisa to “consign the ANC and DA to the dustbin of local government history in the city”.

Action SA says it is ready to fix what’s broken, restore ethical leadership, and deliver reliable, quality services that Ekurhuleni residents deserve.

Meanwhile a few kilometres away Ramaphosa asked that the ANC should be given another chance.
