RAMAPHOSA IN TEMBISA

ANC President Cyril Ramaphosa was in Tembisa on Friday, 04 September 2026, as the party takes its 2026 local government election campaign directly to residents of Tembisa.

Ramaphosa arrived at Rabasotho Community Hall for a briefing with the ANC Ekurhuleni regional leadership and ward councillors before heading into the door-to-door campaign.

The ANC president was welcomed by supporters and residents as he began the campaign, which is centred on taking the party’s local government manifesto to communities and engaging residents on their concerns.

Ramaphosa visited households in wards 10 and 14 as the ANC seeks to engage voters ahead of the local government elections.

The campaign culminated in a community meeting at eThafeni Sports Grounds.
