ActionSA has taken its “LET’S DO IT AGAIN with Herman Mashaba” campaign to Ward 79 in Ivory Park as the party intensifies its campaign ahead of the 4 November 2026 Local Government Elections.

The campaign was led by ActionSA Gauteng Provincial Chairperson Funzi Ngobeni, accompanied by Provincial Secretary Evelyn Mondlane and the party’s Ward 79 councillor candidate, Christopher Mohlala.

Party activists conducted a door-to-door campaign, engaging residents as ActionSA seeks to grow its support in Ivory Park.

ActionSA says it is the “only viable option to fix South Africa” and is campaigning for the return of party leader Herman Mashaba as Executive Mayor of Johannesburg.

Mashaba previously served as Johannesburg mayor from 2016 until his resignation in 2019. He is now seeking a return to the city’s top political office as ActionSA attempts to increase its representation in the Johannesburg council.

With election day approaching, Ivory Park continues to attract campaigning from political parties and candidates competing for the area’s wards.

It’s 21 days away from the 2026 Local Government Elections. On Wednesday, 4 November 2026, voters will head to the polls to elect the councillors who will represent their communities for the next five years.
