LETTER TO THE EDITOR: TERRIBLE SERVICE AT EBONY PARK CLINIC

“Good Evening,

I’m writing to you with a very heavy heart and disappointment after the treatment I had received at Ebony Park Clinic. I got to the clinic around 4:30pm and after sitting for more than 3 hours without receiving any help I decide to call the committee member by the Name of Cedric.

He came then there was a bit of progress and yes I know there is other emergencies that needs to be attended to before they can attend to us but honestly speaking everyone at the clinic is an emergency you can’t just go to the clinic without needing medical attention.

But within hours we were back to square one and still having to sit without getting any help and the saddest part when still at the clinic people had been there since 10am and still they had not been helped this is honestly terrible it shows that our health workers are just there to get a pay cheque and go home.

They no longer have the passion and the love for working and helping people to better health,what happened to batho pele principles?

The clinic management and the department of health needs to look into this ASAP.”
