WHY IS THERE NO WATER IN MIDRAND?
Due to the strain on the system, water supply is not reaching all areas, especially high-lying sections, while recovery efforts continue.
Johannesburg Water says interventions are being implemented to stabilise supply, but recovery depends on reducing demand and allowing reservoirs to rebuild capacity.
Residents are urged to:
• Use water sparingly
• Avoid unnecessary usage
• Store water where possible
Johannesburg Water has not confirmed a full restoration time, as recovery depends on reduced consumption and reservoir levels stabilising.
KAE News will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates.
