REMINDER: MIDRAND WATER MAINTENANCE TO AFFECT KAE AREAS FROM 15 TO 18 JULY 2025
Johannesburg Water has issued a notice of planned maintenance by Rand Water that will affect the Palmiet System between 15 and 18 July 2025.
The maintenance work involves repairs to the O2 pipeline, which will result in reduced pumping for the duration of the work.
This planned reduction in water supply will have a direct impact on Johannesburg Water’s Midrand System, including several communities in and around the KAE (Kaalfontein, Allandale, and Ebony Park) region.
⚠️ Affected areas in KAE include:
Kaalfontein
Ebony Park
Ivory Park
Allandale
Commercia (Mayibuye)
Rabie Ridge
President Park AH
Residents in these areas are advised to use water sparingly during the maintenance period and to store water in advance, as there may be low pressure or no water supply at times.
