FIFTH WOMAN’S BODY FOUND AS KEMPTON PARK CASES RAISE FURTHER CONCERN

The discovery of the body of a fifth woman in the wider Kempton Park area on Monday morning has raised further concern as police continue investigating a series of deaths reported over the past two months.

The latest discovery was made in Olifantsfontein, several kilometres from the locations where some of the previous bodies were found.

According to information received, the body was found naked and with serious injuries. The circumstances surrounding her death have not yet been confirmed by official police sources.

The latest case follows four previous discoveries:

1. First victim: A 37-year-old woman was found near the R21, reportedly naked and restrained with cable ties.
2. Second victim: A 32-year-old woman was discovered on 24 August 2026 in the same general location.
3. Third victim: A woman whose age is currently unknown was found on 3 September 2026, reportedly naked and in an advanced stage of decomposition. She has not yet been identified.
4. Fourth victim: A woman was discovered on 12 September 2026 behind a hotel in Rhodesfield. She was reportedly found wearing sportswear.
5. Fifth victim: The latest body was discovered in Olifantsfontein, reportedly naked and with serious injuries.

POLICE INVESTIGATION INTENSIFIES

The discoveries come after SAPS previously confirmed that a multidisciplinary task team had been established to investigate the deaths of women in the Kempton Park area and determine whether there are any links between the cases.

Police have not officially confirmed that the deaths are connected, nor have they confirmed that a serial killer is responsible.

The latest discovery is expected to form part of the ongoing investigation as detectives work to establish the identities of the victims, determine how they died and whether the cases are connected.
