MALE BAKKIE DRIVER GUNNED DOWN IN KAALFONTEIN

A male adult bakkie driver was shot and killed in Kaalfontein on Angelfish Drive on the evening of Tuesday, 19 August 2025.

According to reports, the victim was ambushed by unknown gunmen while driving a white Isuzu bakkie. The suspects fled the scene immediately after the shooting.

The victim, whose identity has not yet been confirmed by his family, was declared dead on the scene by paramedics.

Members of the Ivory Park SAPS attended the scene and have opened a murder case. The motive for the killing remains unknown at this stage.

Authorities have urged anyone who may have a relative driving a white Isuzu bakkie who has not returned home to contact or visit the Ivory Park Police Station.

Investigations are ongoing.
