MAN SHOT DEAD IN TEMBISA
A man was found dead with a gunshot wound early on Sunday morning, 15 June 2025 at the corner of Kgano and Brian Streets in Moedi Section, Tembisa.
Law enforcement and emergency personnel responded swiftly to the scene following reports from nearby residents.
According to eyewitnesses, the fatal shooting occurred around 04:30. The victim, believed to be a local resident, was found with his cellphone still on him leading police to believe that robbery was not the motive.
Authorities were able to use the phone to contact the man’s family, who have since arrived at the scene.
Police have confirmed that a case of murder has been opened and investigations are underway. At this stage, the suspects remain unknown.
