CASH IN TRANSIT ROBBERY AT PHOMOLONG
The police are investigating a cash-in-transit robbery after a cash van was bombed, and an undisclosed amount of money was stolen by unknown suspects in Phomolong, on Monday, 27 October 2025, at approximately 17:50.
It is reported that the cash van was driving on Mapheto Drive when a light blue Chevrolet Cruser ramped the van and started shooting, forcing the van to stop. The driver and crew were forced out of the van at gun point and the van was bombed.
The suspects fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money and the victims’ rifle and pistol allegedly using a white Ford Ranger, White Toyota Prado and a gold Mercedes Benz.
