DRUGS OFF THE STREETS IN IVORY PARK & TEMBISA!

On Sunday, 28 September 2025, a joint operation between SAPS Crime Intelligence, Gauteng Traffic Police, and Gauteng Traffic Wardens STT (EC) led to the arrest of two suspected drug dealers.

While conducting stop-and-search duties in Lifateng Section, Tembisa, officers received intelligence about a local drug dealer. At the given address, they arrested a male suspect found in possession of crystal meth.

The operation then extended to Madela Kufa Informal Settlement in Ivory Park, where officers acted on further information about another local drug dealer who had allegedly been threatening residents with a weapon. Police arrested a male suspect found in possession of crystal meth, mandrax pills, and a pellet gun.

Both suspects were arrested for possession of drugs and are expected to appear before the Tembisa Magistrates Court soon.

Authorities confirm that this operation is part of ongoing efforts to remove narcotics from local communities and ensure public safety.
