JUSTICE FOR MINENHLE: BODY FOUND HIDDEN UNDER BED IN MIDRAND HOME
Police in Midrand are investigating a murder case after the body of a young woman, identified as Minenhle, was found hidden inside a house.
The discovery follows intelligence about a suspected strangulation incident that allegedly took place in the early hours of 18 April 2026.
The incident was reported anonymously on Wednesday. On Friday, police together with private security traced an address in Midrand.
Inside the property, they discovered the body of a woman, believed to be between 22 and 23 years old, hidden under a bed and wrapped in plastic.
The scene was secured, and the body was taken for a post-mortem examination.
Information suggests that Minenhle attended Kaalfontein Secondary School and Hoërskool Rhodesfield.
At this stage, no arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing.
